This question is asked because paid games, like Minecraft, require having an active subscription on the respective platform (excluding PC and mobile) to access online features.

Same issue here. If I log into Minecraft on my Nintendo switch under my Nintendo account, I can see the DLC. But it will not sync over to my Microsoft account to be able to play on different devices.

Has anyone had luck syncing purchases made with a Nintendo account to a Microsoft account in Minecraft marketplace?

It is important to point out that when you make a purchase in the Microsoft Store, in the “compatible with” section, you can check the devices where you can access the content you purchased.

The base game and DLCs that you purchased can be played only on PC because the Nintendo Switch has a separate marketplace, and it's required to re-purchase the Ultimate edition if you want to play that content on your switch.

You can check that Minecraft Dungeons Ultimate edition has a separate edition for Nintendo Switch:

Please be aware, this happens with almost every game you want to play on a different platform, so it's not something exclusive to Microsoft.

For example, if you purchase a game on Nintendo Switch, and this game is available on PC or Xbox, you need to re-purchase the game on every platform you want to access it.
