Minecraft Marketplace Incorrect Region Error

If you're still having issues regardless of browser and your card is working on different merchants, I would recommend that you contact Microsoft support for your profile to be checked internally and see what's causing this issue.

1-Access the Microsoft contact us at this link.

2-Click on Windows and then click on "Get Home support"

3-Write a brief description of your request or issue in the box then click the "Get Help" button.

4-Click on the "Contact Support" button located at the bottom of the page. If you are not logged in, you will see "Sign in to Contact Support". Log in to your Microsoft account.

5-Select your Product or Service. Choose a Category then click Confirm

6-Lastly, choose a support option

I already tried with my two different cards. I previously used both of these cards to make purchases from the website and the marketplace with no such error.

Thank you for sharing an update.

If this happens also in website, I would recommend that you try to use a different payment method to see if you will get the same error.

Oh and by the way this issue is not only present in the marketplace but also in the Minecraft website itself too. I tried buying the game as a gift for a friend and got the exact same error

Did you move to a different region? If you did not move, you may just need to ensure that your profile is set the region where you're physically located. I understand that you already checked your settings but as part of isolation, allow me to share this instructions so you could check your settings for all platforms.

To change the region in your Microsoft account profile:

Go to the Your info page of your Microsoft account dashboard:

Select Edit profile info.

Select the new Country or region from the dropdown list.
