minecraft lost connection every time we try to play online

I called Xbox support earlier and they said something about the Xbox 360 servers are not working or are down, and the only way to get it fixed is to contact the developers.

we been playing Minecraft since Christmas, no problems then all of a sudden it now says lost connection, the xbox live is working but every time we try to play onlne on Minecraft we get that error so we have to play offline,

we have checked all the online settings and everything s great so it is Minecraft. please help we are goint crazy

Yes today, every game i try to get into it says Connection lost inside of minecraft. Everything on my internet is up and running. But under Xbox Live it says “Service Alert”. And when we go to Xbox.com it says all services are up and running.

We are playing on Xbox 360 minecraft. Somebody please help.

If you have checked your network settings and everything is good then it's possible the game needs an update since Minecraft had a new update a few days ago. First, go ahead and do a

hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox. Once it's back on, open up your games library and scroll down to Updates. Let the Xbox check for updates and download any Minecraft updates you see.

Let us know if the problem persists.

Try clearing the cache and then reinstall the game bro.
Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .

Is this only happening with Minecraft? You may want to uninstall or reinstall the game to fix this issue, or you can wait for an update.
