minecraft licence

hi, my friend bought a microsoft link account that had the Minecraft java licence on it because he said that it would use my accounts email as a recovery email and transfer the licence to my account. just yesterday he got a redeem code for both Java and bedrock because the other account only had java. since I have the licence for both games,will the other licence for the other account that's supposedly going to "transfer"the licence still try to transfer? I just don't want to lose the game I've been waiting years to get on my pc.

it's a violation of the Tos to buy/sell/trade accounts.

It's also a violation of the Tos to give somebody access to your account. You are responsible for everything that this person would do with your account.

The "friend" lied to you that it's possible to transfer games.

So you better change the password for your account as fast as possible.

Btw if you would participate in the Microsoft Rewards program you could collect enough points to buy the game with the collected points in a few months.

Hi, it may be worth a shot at a license transfer using your sons profile.

After the licences have been transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licences. This way the content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox LIVE.

it uses an illegal copy of minecraft, it is not endorsed or licenced by microsoft so therefore is illegal to use.
