Discus and support minecraft licence suddenly not working???? in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I have owned a copy of minecraft since 2020.     minecraft licence suddenly not working????


    I have owned a copy of minecraft since 2020. Once migration began, I migrated swiftly with no problem and have been playing minecraft with no issue until today.

    Today, while playing minecraft, My game suddenly crashed. When I to relaunch, my minecraft launcher began saying "Buy Now." Confused, I logged into minecraft.net, which led to wild results. Sometimes, it wouldn't let me log in, leaving an error message saying "failed to verify access to microsoft account." Other times, it would let me log in, however going to my account page to see my games wouldn't let me change my name or skin, clicking on those links would reset the page and demand that I buy the game.

    THINGS I HAVE TRIED.

    -Using other launchers including 7/8 launcher, Feather Client and Lunar client
    -updating xbox app
    -reinstalling the "Java Bedrock Package" that the microsoft store clearly says I own
    -checking if I migrated to the wrong account (I didn't)

    Help! Lost a game and its not on my Download History!

    Transferring licences is to make content work on a new console, it doesn't suddenly add stuff into your Download History.

    The most likely reason for this is that you originally bought the game using another account. You need to be signed into that one and then go through the download history.

    it's a violation of the Tos to buy/sell/trade accounts.

    It's also a violation of the Tos to give somebody access to your account. You are responsible for everything that this person would do with your account.

    The "friend" lied to you that it's possible to transfer games.

    So you better change the password for your account as fast as possible.

    Btw if you would participate in the Microsoft Rewards program you could collect enough points to buy the game with the collected points in a few months.

    Hi, it may be worth a shot at a license transfer using your sons profile.

    After the licences have been transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licences. This way the content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox LIVE.
