Minecraft Launcher will not start,

Please try the steps one at a time to resolve the issue.

Solution 1: Repair and reset the Minecraft launcher app.

Please go to Settings > Apps > Apps Features. Select Minecraft launcher, then click Advanced options. Click the repair button and reset button, try using the launcher again, and see if it works.

Solution 2: Please try to uninstall and reinstall the launcher and see if that sorts out the issue.

Solution 3: Please try using the other version of the launcher which you can download from this link, https://aka.ms/minecraftClientWindows.

I've done that,uninstalled gaming services and reinstalled it as well, then deleted the registry keys and reinstalled via powershell. All multiple times in various orders, including this one. Nothing has worked.

Thanks for sharing those details. Just to confirm, does the same issue happen when you try to use the other version of the launcher from solution 3?

I have the same issue and not working deleting profile.json file. The problem is that when i start minecraft launcher, the launcher and the microsoft store open at same time but microsoft store glitches and only can be closed after closing minecraft launcher with Task Manager or reseting the computer.

Thanks for sharing this information. Are you trying to play the Minecraft for Windows or the Java edition?

Are you using the Windows 10/11 launcher or the Windows 7/8 launcher?

And have you tried to open the Minecraft program from the Start menu instead of using the Launcher?
