Discus and support Minecraft Launcher signes in as radom account with no purcase of minecraft, only lets me... in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I feel somehow Microsoft messed up my accounts.     I feel somehow Microsoft messed up my accounts.

    Starting maybe a year ago, when I login to microsoft using the minecraft launcher, it default loads DenaryBuffalo17, an account I never created. This account has no purchase of Minecraft. It can only play the demo.

    This was ok, as my old account was still available from the drop down menu.

    Today I can no longer switch to my old account.

    Is there a way to switch back to my old account, and get rid of this random account that I neither need nor want?

    I am still using the same username and password to login that I always have done, but I see no record of the old account when I login to account.xbox.com.

    Is that even the correct place to login to change my minecraft account?

    I see. I recommend talking to Mojang directly to find out what happened to your account.

    It does not work. Still logging in as DenaryBuffalo17. When I try to switch to my old account I get an error "something went wrong with the login process"

    Remove the launcher you are currently using, download the new launcher from the Microsoft Store app and log your account into the launcher.
