Minecraft launcher saying I don't own Minecraft Java edition even though I have for years.

Also I did the whole account migration and everything worked fine until I tried to log in specifically last night.

Is this something that can be fixed or some sort of weird marketing scheme where they try to make you buy the game you already bought?

I havethe exact same issue!! I just bought the game, it charged me but it says I don't own the game!

Micrososft's suport is the worst I've seen so far.

Same exact problem. Haven't been able to play minecraft since migrating. Says I don't own the game even though I bought it almost a decade ago. Would be nice if microsoft would fix this instead of ignoring us.

Same Exact BS. This is why Microsoft should have kept their buggy junk code out of Mojang. It's bad enough you have the only operating system that we all sadly have to use to access the majority of software on the planet but now you are infecting games with your buggy code!

Kindly sign out your account on Minecraft Launcher then restart your PC before signing back in and make sure to choose "Microsoft Login".

If the same issue occurs, kindly click the "buy" option and check what options you will have from there.
