Minecraft Launcher (Java): Couldn't Connect to Minecraft Services

Hope you're doing great today despite this SHECATIGANS

Please try and double check this:

A. Press Windows button and type Services

On Services App from the list of results, press right-click and run it as administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper
Xbox Live Auth Manager
Xbox Live Game Save
Xbox Live Networking Service
Gaming Services

And do this with each of the services listed above:

Right-click over the service and select Properties.
Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic (if not, change it to automatic)
If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services

Restart your PC and try again

B. If you have an antivirus or firewall service please turn off all the protections temporarily (including windows defender)

C. Open task manager > select the startup tab > disable all the programs listed there temporarily
Restart the PC and try again

D. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again

E. Create a new local administrator user in your PC and try from there

If i buy Minecraft Dungeons from the Microsoft Store will it be available in the Minecraft (Java) Launcher, or will it be like Minecraft Java vs Bedrock?

Not sure why your Java username is showing as already taken, but since the Minecraft website shows that you own Java, this is probably just an issue with the Launcher syncing data.

Would you please try to reinstall Minecraft Java and the Minecraft Launcher too?

Thank you very much for your reply.

We were using the TLauncher because the official Minecraft Launcher couldn't download and install Minecraft Java Edition. It however could download and install Minecraft windows version. So, we used the TLauncher based on an advise in a video on youtube. So, the TLauncher enabled us to install the Java edition and to use it for single player. Thereafter, we tried to use it with the minecraft launcher but this attempt was mot successful.

So, our problem is with using it for multiplier

Hello mimim2,

The Minecraft launcher you are referring to is only for the Java edition of Minecraft. The Java edition and Windows 10, are two separate games. In order to launch and play Minecraft from the launcher you are using in the last image, you must buy the Java
edition from the site, not the Windows 10 version. Minecraft Java Edition | Minecraft. Annoying I know, but when Microsoft acquired Minecraft they released
their own version of the game on their platform. Hope this helps
