Minecraft launcher is completely corrupted and I don't know what to do

For some reason whenever I try to open the Minecraft launcher it says "This app can't open. Check the Microsoft store for more details." Then when I go there it says to retry something. So I do that, and nothing happens. Then I tried repairing and that did nothing, tried resetting and that was impossible, and tried uninstalling and that was impossible too. Someone please help me figure out what is going on.

Thank you. Have you tried to install the installer that I shared without uninstalling the old one?

The error that you are getting is related to Microsoft store cache corruption. Please follow instrruction:

Reset Windows Store Cache:
Open Command Prompt as administrator: Press Windows + R, type cmd, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
Run wsreset.exe and press Enter

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues launching Minecraft. Kindly make sure that you are logged in using the same Microsoft account where you purchased the game. If you purchased it from Microsoft store, you may check it by going to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

Once confirmed that you are using the correct account, please follow my recommendations below.

1. Delete the Minecraft launcher that exists on your computer.

2. Restart your computer.

3. Install legacy Minecraft launcher for Windows.

Once reinstalled, continue with these instructions.

1. Open Minecraft launcher.

2. If you are already logged in, click on your image and Gamer tag in the upper left corner of the screen and then on "Logout".

3. After logging out, delete all accounts registered in the launcher by clicking on the "X" next to each account.

4. In the Minecraft launcher, enter the Microsoft email and password.

Update: I don't know why, I don't know how, but for some bizzare reason that I couldn't WISH to explain I somehow logged into the Minecraft launcher with my microsoft account WITHOUT KNOWING ANY CREDENTIALS AT ALL!!!

I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED

I now have access to my Minecraft (NOT Microsoft) account without knowing the email or the password.
What do I do now???

Well that was no help at all. What launcher? the only "Minecraft launcher " I have is from Mojang. there is no Minecraft there except for Realms and Caves and junk I don't want. I've now spent the better part of a day on this. All I want to do is play the game.
