Minecraft Launcher for windows 10 and 11. "You're too early".

I installed Minecraft Launcher for windows 10 and 11 from the Microsoft store. However, whenever I click play I get a pop up saying "You're too early. We know you really want to get started, but you'll have to wait a bit longer. Check the Store for the launch date."

What do I do? I'm pretty sure it's already been launched, but perhaps dates are different in different circumstances.

I want to play minecraft with one of my friends but i can't /java edition hypixel because this always comes up "We know you really want to get started, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer. Check the Store for the launch date." do you know how to fix this or not

Where did you exactly download or install the Minecraft Launcher? From the Minecraft website or through the Microsoft Store?

Be sure to sign in your correct account through the Xbox app and the Microsoft Store.

If you've acquired your Minecraft game license through Game Pass, please confirm if you got the Game Pass for PC and not the Game Pass for Console via https://account.microsoft.com/services.

Thanks for sharing this information. Are you trying to play the Minecraft for Windows or the Java edition?

Are you using the Windows 10/11 launcher or the Windows 7/8 launcher?

And have you tried to open the Minecraft program from the Start menu instead of using the Launcher?

Please go to the Minecraft website and download the Windows 7/8 launcher. Try playing the game using it. The Windows 10 launcher is giving this error for some users.

Make sure you sign in with the correct Microsoft Account used for the Migration.

Also, uninstall the current Windows 10/11 launcher before installing the Windows 7/8 launcher.

Hi, Jenna. I appreciate you trying the steps. If the issue still persists, it would be best to coordinate with Minecraft team again since it’s an issue with the launcher. The Minecraft launcher on MS store will only work on Windows 10 or 11. Sorry
