Minecraft launcher error when try to open!

I'm currently on Windows 11 and having trouble with the image uploader on the help page. Unfortunately, I won't be able to provide you with a screenshot. Upon launching the game, a pop-up menu appears at the top: "Your game needs an update." Below that, there's a creeper logo with "Minecraft Launcher." I tried clicking the download button, but it keeps showing an error message. The error message before how many MB the file is. I have 261GB of free space. What I have tried: Repairing the app, Resetting the app Trying to update it to the Microsoft store (that didn't work). So please help me.

Troubleshoot the Minecraft launcher error: If you're encountering an error when trying to use the Minecraft launcher, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher or updating to the latest version. You can also try clearing the launcher cache by following these steps:

Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

Type "%appdata%" (without quotes) and press Enter.

Delete the .minecraft folder.

Restart the launcher and try again.

It appears that you are having issue with launching Minecraft game in your Windows device. Let us check on this together and make sure to perform troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue in a timely manner.

Below are the troubleshooting steps worth trying for:

1. Make sure Windows is up to date

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.
Select Windows Update.
On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates to see if any updates are availabl including optional updates for your device.
Once the updates have downloaded, select Install now to start the installation.
Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect.

2. Download and install Xbox Console Companion app.

Go to this link: Xbox Console Companion - Microsoft Store Apps
click on Get app on Store
wait for the app to download and install completely.

3. Make sure both the Xbox and Gaming Services apps are up to date

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type store, and open the Microsoft Store app.
Select Library.
Under Updates & downloads, check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app or Gaming Services app. If an update is available, select Update.

4. Make sure you are signed in to the Xbox app and the Store with the same account.

> To make sure your permissions for the game can be validated, be sure to sign in to both the Store and the Xbox app using the same account that was used to purchase the game.

5. Uninstall and reinstall Gaming Services

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.
In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Restart your device and try to launch the game again.

Additionally, if the issue still persists, follow these steps which is suggested by the game developer support team which can be found through their official site:

Reset the Store:

Press the Windows key and the R key simultaneously
A window will appear. Type in ‘WSReset’ and hit enter

Reset and Repair the Minecraft Launcher:

Go to the Start Menu
Right click on the Minecraft Launcher
Select ‘More’
Open ‘App Settings’
Within these settings, click on ‘Repair’ and ‘Reset’

May I know what country do you live in?

And when you try to open the Minecraft Launcher, do you receive any error message or it just does not open?

Omg thank u I had a error similar to that where every time I try to open the new Minecraft windows launcher it opens MICROSOFT store and won’t let me use the launcher tab
