Minecraft lan game

No matter what console that i try to use to play on my local area network. It is wanting me to sign up for a nintendo switch online account or xbox live subscription or a ps plus option. The lan option is grayed out behind the multi-player option and everytime you enable the multi-player option it wants me to subscribe. It was not this way a week ago so what has changed. And yes all devices are on the same version and the same network. The only devices that can not join are the consoles. Is there a reason behind this. All my computers phones and tablets can get in the same game still. So is there a reason why the lan games on console are being blocked by a pay wall all of the sudden?

Hello, I am using Windows 11 and I Don't play other games on PC besides Minecraft and like I said before both of us have reinstalled Minecraft, but it still does not work without LAN. However, whenever he comes over, it works just fine with LAN.
My NAT type is Moderate. There weird thing is that a few months ago (Without LAN) everything was just fine.
