Minecraft Java vs Windows Ten

So... I messed up.

I have the new Minecraft for my Switch, which is good and all, and have that hooked up to my XBox account. However, I still like the retro Minecraft, so I wanted to get the java edition for my pc. I accidentally bought the Windows ten edition...

Is there any way I can change that to the Java edition?

The Java version of Minecraft needs to be bought through Minecraft/Mojang's website, as just a heads up. You can find it at the link below. Please make sure you get that refund for the Windows 10 version first though. I feel like that's the bigger fish to
fry right now in your case. Keep in mind you need to register for a Mojang account before you can move on to the buy and download page, so do that if you haven't already too.

The Minecraft Editions, like the Starter or Master editions. Is what i meant by packs. And when i bought the java edition of minecraft it let me redeem the window ten version.

If i buy Minecraft Dungeons from the Microsoft Store will it be available in the Minecraft (Java) Launcher, or will it be like Minecraft Java vs Bedrock?
