Minecraft Java Edition Failed To Install

I purchased the Minecraft java and bedrock edition pack, and I am only able to access the bedrock edition. When I attempt to launch the java edition of the game, I am met with a prompt telling me to play the demo and another telling me to buy the game. When I attempt to purchase the game, I am told that I already own it. I am on windows 11 and just created this account today, I have tried reinstalling the launcher, installing the windows 7-8 launcher, signing in and out, running Minecraft launcher as an administrator and a few other small things. I would appreciate any help!

They are not all java edition. The top one is the bedrock edition. It's just called Minecraft, and the same version is on other platforms too. Then you have the launcher, which you can use to launch any of the Minecraft games, including Legends and Dungeons. The bottom one is java edition.

If you only want to run the java edition, then the java edition is the one you want to install.

Steps to help address specific problems are below – but if you are seeing a “Deep Ocean” error + code in your Launcher, are having trouble installing or running the Win10/Win11 Launcher, or are having trouble running/installing Bedrock or any other software within the Launcher, try the following steps FIRST:

Make sure you are logged in to the Microsoft Store: Open the Store app and log in: https://aka.ms/MSStoreHome
Make sure your version of Windows is up to date: In the lower-left corner of your PC’s screen, enter “Update” in the search bar. Choose “Check for updates” and let your PC install any & all available updates.

I set all xbox related services to automatic and started them. There are no "gaming services".

Since I reinstalled windows last night "Minecraft for windows" is the only game that has successfully installed through the Xbox app. Ive attempted many times today to install the title "Minecraft Java Edition" which the Xbox app says I "own" and to "install" but continue to run into an error 0x00000001. As we speak I am attempting to install Halo: The Master Chief Collection but like the previous title "Minecraft Java Edition", it has failed to download.

I am able to successfully launch and Play "Minecraft for Windows" but am currently Unable to download any other title.
