    Minecraft Java Chat not working much


    On Java 1.19 optifine, and recently unable to reliably use chat. My friends typically cant see my messages like "what are your coords?", etc, but can see if I'm typing numbers or something like that in chat (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.). I can also see nothing they send in chat, at all, doesnt even matter what it is. Troubleshooting I've tried was verifying the game chat settings, and I've fully checked everything in my microsoft/xbox privacy settings. I'm out of ideas to try and would like to know if anyone else has any ideas or has fixed a similar issue?

    Did you tried disabling optifine or try with a clean Minecraft Java version?

    Windows 10 minecraft and java edition are both two different types of Editions unfortunately you would have to buy the java edition on the minecraft website.
