Wow! 2 years. I need to get a life. 5th character and still just the other day I discovered a brand new location.

I've never played Dark Souls but everyone talks about how great the combat is. To be fair, anything is better than Skyrim combat lol... don't get me wrong Skyrim is in a league of its own as far as open world games are concerned... but the melee combat is
shameful. I'd like to see more realistic approach to combat in the next game. Kill animations shouldn't have conditions for them to occur (last enemy, even ground) they should be fluid and transition from one to the next... something like Assassin's Creed.
More convincing visuals couldn't hurt either... things like entry and exit wounds, damaged armor, or clothing... blood splatters. The game would be perfection if the combat was tuned up.

I'm so glad that others are still out there exploring and finding new places. this last character discovered and did all kinds of new things and there are still places and quests I haven't done. I've never properly explored Labyrinthian and, because i never
found Krosis after i lost it, I couldn't do the Dragon priest finale. But i never say never.

Skyrim and Dark Souls released within weeks of one another two years ago, and the majority of my game time since has been spread between the two. If they ever release a game with the Skyrim world and Dark Souls combat, I will never bathe or be gainfully
employed again.
