    Minecraft is stuck on the "Aquatic" update tried everything help!


    The game is currently stuck on the "Aquatic" update. We have restarted and hard reset the xbox as well as uninstall the game and reinstall it again. I checked previous articles and saw some people say it could be because its the xbox one edition, but I own the xbox one edition disc and its updated to caves and cliffs so I don't know what's wrong . (The disc stuck on the "Aquatic" update is a family members.) If you have any ideas please let me know.

    Hi!

    Did you install Minecraft Beta version? If so, consider to leave the beta.

    Follow these steps to unenroll from Minecraft Beta:

    1. On Xbox One, sign in with the account that registered for the Minecraft Beta and launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
    2. Navigate to Insider content > Minecraft
    3. Select Manage.
    4. Use the radio button to select Unenroll (Leave this preview), then select Done.
    5. Wait an additional 30-60 minutes after unenrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
    6. Uninstall Minecraft.
    7. Power cycle the Xbox console by holding down the power button until the console turns off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the console back on.
    8. Reinstall Minecraft from the Ready to Install section of Games & Apps.

    No we did not install Minecraft Beta and are still having this issue.

    Sorry for the late reply I never got a notification and had trouble logging in until today.

    Water Mode for Minecraft Xbox One

    Do you mean Aquatic mode or an Aquatic mod? There is not a Aquatic mode. There is an update that added water biomes and dolphins and the like. That requires you to have the Normal Edition of Minecraft.

    Aquatic mod would be something you need the Normal edition then spend extra to get. If it requires coins then that is a mod.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend checking within the game. Go to my games and apps>highlight Minecraft>hit the start/menu button>go to manage game>then look under ready to install. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game completely.
    If there is nothing there, you will need to reach out to Mojang on how to update the game. Make sure the disc is inserted when doing this.
