    Minecraft iPad Air - Crashing


    Minecraft on my iPad Air keeps crashing after starting up the game (As soon as I click "play" or "settings" etc.). I worked out that it works fine when the Wifi is switched off (I can then switch the Wifi on after starting the game and then it will play
    normally). However, is there some setting that I can change or mod so that I don't have to keep doing this every time I run it (I've seen similar posts about this problem from other people too) - Please don't advise on any of the following: Uninstall/reinstall
    Minecraft, Apple OS version, complete reset on iPad - I've tried ALL of these things Minecraft iPad Air - Crashing :)

    Mojang has offered a workaround that may work for people who are interested in playing Minecraft on their iOS device. To try this fix, do the following:

    1. Close Minecraft on your iOS device. This means fully closing out of the game by opening the multitasking menu and swiping up on Minecraft.
    2. Open the Xbox app on your iOS device. You can download the app here if you don't already have it installed.
    3. Tap on the hamburger menu.
    4. Navigate to Settings.
    5. Tap sign-out to sign-out from Xbox Live.
    6. Close the Xbox app on your iOS device. You can fully close out of the app by opening the multitasking menu and swiping up on the Xbox app.
    7. Open the Xbox app and follow the guidance to sign back into Xbox Live.
    8. Launch Minecraft.
    9. Attempt to sign in with your Microsoft Account again.

    Xbox One Smartglass Crashing

    I'm experiencing the same issue on an iPad Air. I have tried the suggestions above, but SmartGlass is still crashing immediately after it opens.

    iPad Air

    iOS 7.1.2 (11D257)

    SmartGlass 2.9.

    Wifi connection

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
