    Minecraft: Heavy lag when loading


    Hi,

    I have an older system but high end in it's day and way over the recommended specs. However when I launch the game, while it is building my world it lags horribly.

    Now once it's loaded it runs absolutely perfect without a hitch, full settings. How can I fix this? I've recently gotten back into this game but that never used to happen.

    System Specs:

    Windows 10 (fully updated)

    FX 8350 4.3Ghz (most current drivers)

    GTX 1080 8GB ram

    16GB system ram

    Samsung EVO SSD 1 TB (half full)

    140 mbps download rate

    No clue why it happens. Again once loaded it's perfect, not a single hitch.

    Well I followed the instructions, did a system reboot and still, for whatever reason when it's drawing the world right in the beginning i pretty much have to wait in a spot til everything loads. Not the worst thing I guess as it takes about 30s and then
    smooth never to have a hiccup again (until I quit and relaunch..)

    This sounds like a internet problem. are you running wireless or wired connection?

    you could try flushing your dns:-

    Flushing DNS:

    1. Press the Windows Key (the key on the left side of the spacebar, between ctrl and alt).
    2. Type cmd.
    3. a black box will appear
    4. Type ipconfig /release in the command prompt.
    5. Press [Enter]
    6. Type ipconfig /renew in the command prompt.
