Minecraft gift code did not send

bought minecraft for a freind and its been almost 24h and the email has still not arrived to them. the card used was charged anyways, and minecraft support told me i needed to contact microsoft support for help with this seince they were the ones to charge the card, and after 2+ hours for the life of me i cant figure out how to contact them via email. when i try to check my microsoft account to refund it through there, the purchase is not listed, and before you ask, yes they have checked their spam and junk. is there anyway to have the code resent or refunded?(i tried to include a screenshot showing the account was charged, but uploading it in JPEG, PNG, and WEBP formats)

If it doesn't show in your order history, then the order was not completed on Microsoft's side. You can try contacting support and speak to billing to see if they can see what happened, but otherwise, you'd have to buy it again. Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues purchasing Minecraft as a child.

One of the alternative ways to purchase Minecraft is for your parent to sign into the Microsoft store and buy Minecraft as a gift, which will send a gift code to the email address associated with your account (child) account. You can then follow the instructions in the email to redeem the gift code in the Microsoft store and download and install Minecraft. See How to Give Minecraft as a Gift through Email for more information.

I just wanted to clarify, did you purchase it directly through the Xbox Store? If yes, then please try this to see if you can send the code to your account.

1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

2. Select View gift code.

3. If the code is still active, select View gift code and then Copy-Paste the gift code into the body of an email and send it to the recipient or you can send it via message.

The free gift cards from xbox usually go out in december. Also minecraft gave me a $5 gift card. You should try to play diffrent types of games. Sea of theives, warframe, forza and many other games send out codes for in game add ons.
