Minecraft Gamertag on PS4

If you are having login issues, you need to make sure that you have an Xbox Live Gamertag (Xbox Live profile) made with your Microsoft Account by logging into https://account.xbox.com/ or
any of the Xbox apps on Windows 10 PCs or mobile devices. It's likely that OneDoubloo6451 is the Xbox Live Gamertag. Once you confirm that is the Gamertag, restart Minecraft and try logging in again with your Microsoft Account that now has an
Xbox Live Gamertag associated with the account. You can also download the Xbox app on your mobile device and login to the app with the same Microsoft Account credentials. Once you are logged into the app, double-check that you see a Gamertag (username
for Xbox Live) and then close or quit Minecraft on your PS4. Restart your PS4 to make sure and then try logging in again after restarting your PS4 and Minecraft.

I have linked my Microsoft account to my PS4 account in order to play cross platform minecraft. The issue is that I would like to play cross platform with my brother, who is playing using my Xbox One. My microsoft account is now associated with
both my PS4 account and Xbox Live account, which means that we share a gamertag. For this reason I cannot add my Xbox account as a friend on Minecraft and cannot play cross platform. I attempted to resolve this issue by unlinking my Microsoft account from
my PS4 account but this did not resolve the issue. I was unable to link a different Microsoft account to my PS4 account, a message informed me that my account was already linked to another and could not be linked again.

We thought that was the issue at first because the Xbox player was indeed appearing offline, however nothing changed when we sorted that.

We have fixed the issue so I am putting this here for anyone else who might see. The solution was posted in the comments of the video you linked to. It might have been obvious to you and many others but not us!

We had done everything in this video, although following other instructions online. These instructions then just told a PS4 player to search for the Xbox gamertag and send a friend request in Minecraft.

However, what is not made clear in any online instructions that I saw is that the Xbox player also has to add the PS4 player as an Xbox friend via use of the Microsoft gamertag they have been assigned when they linked PS4 Minecraft to their Microsoft account.
(I am also aware that the PS4 player can change the random gamertag if they wish).

Once you have a Gamertag and you are still having log in issues, then go into the Minecraft Store in-game and into the texture pack section. Search for "Bedrock" Pack and install it, it should be free. If you can't find that specific pack, others
state that downloading any of the other free texture packs should also work. Users have reported that downloading the free Bedrock texture pack, or any free texture pack, allowed them to log in. On that same thread, I found another solution that could help you. Quoted from the thread, "So what you have to do is (on your playstation)

1. click on settings

2. click on storage

3.click in system storage

4.click on saved data

5.click on minecraft

6. then you should have two “saved data” boxes from the new minecraft update....next you will have to delete both of them

7. open your game and it should not give you the message anymore and it should let you sign in"

Hello, unfortunately there is still a problem logging in to ps4 in Minecraft. Can I log in to the Microsort account via the account I have on ps4, or is it not possible. Regards.
