Minecraft game on iOS - signed in but do not know account details other than Gamertag.

I should say that you did the right thing when you sign in to your Microsoft account on Minecraft website. Now, you will know how you can confirm what credentials you have had with the Minecraft that shows your licenses. Since, we do not have any advance tools to help you with any account issues. Please try to re-log in to your other account/s on the same site to ensure you can trace the account with the gamertag you are trying to access that has Minecraft game license.

We know the assistance you needed is about getting back to the other gamertag you had have with Minecraft. There are two options you can do in order to get back to that account:

• Manually track all your other account/s and sign into the website of Minecraft to see if one of those emails have had Minecraft license.
  
  • Or you may contact Minecraft Support and ask if they can help you with your Minecraft credentials. Where you might be asked to provide your transaction number with Minecraft purchase.
    
• To get back your other gamertag, you may also manually sign in to your other accounts through this link for Xbox account - account.xbox.com/
  
  • Having a gamertag means you have a Microsoft account that is signed into Xbox.
    

The key here is that you know one of your accounts has the license of the game - Minecraft under this gamertag you cannot access. However, in the search of the credentials for this gamertag you will need to recall or use your other email accounts to sign into Xbox website or Minecraft website.

For instance, you may recall having an email account for 2 years that you haven't signed in with. Only to found out you have emails about Microsoft on your inbox and that have great chance that was the email linked to your other gamertag.

Mojang has offered a workaround that may work for people who are interested in playing Minecraft on their iOS device. To try this fix, do the following:

1. Close Minecraft on your iOS device. This means fully closing out of the game by opening the multitasking menu and swiping up on Minecraft.
2. Open the Xbox app on your iOS device. You can download the app here if you don't already have it installed.
3. Tap on the hamburger menu.
4. Navigate to Settings.
5. Tap sign-out to sign-out from Xbox Live.
6. Close the Xbox app on your iOS device. You can fully close out of the app by opening the multitasking menu and swiping up on the Xbox app.
7. Open the Xbox app and follow the guidance to sign back into Xbox Live.
8. Launch Minecraft.
9. Attempt to sign in with your Microsoft Account again.

If you disable 2-step verification, sign out, and then sign back in, do you have any trouble with sending messages then? Also, do you happen to have something other than an iOS device you can test the app on to see if it's on the side of the account or the
