    Minecraft - Game is "Gone"


    Hi,

    Not sure if this was an issue before, but I have purchased Minecraft many years ago, and recently when I tried accessing it I cannot anymore, as the Play now button turned into a buy now, and I only had the option to re-purchase it again.

    I believe it should be the java edition.

    Is this due to me not transferring my account over to microsoft in time or something? Is there still a way to get my access back or am I out of luck and have to re-purchase again?

    Sorry you dont see your game under "ready to install" list. You can always check your purchases history online and redownload the game from the website and if your have your account set to home on your Xbox it will automatically download to it. Here's
    how:

    Sign in to the Payment & billing page with your
    Microsoft account.

    Note If you don't know your Microsoft account email address or password, use the Lost
    Account Solution     or the Lost Password

    the game was given for free to anyone who owned the xbox one edition, so i doubt it will be in my purchase history. And it is a digital copy so no disc.

    Hello Bartosz, if your Microsoft account that had Minecraft went missing and you managed to create another account with the same email means that it was hacked, in which case you should try to recover it.
