Minecraft FPS Stuck At 60 While I'm At Full Screen (Not Happening In Older Windows Versions)

Hi.

Since I installed Windows 10 Home again, I'm having problems with Minecraft FPS CUZ OF GAME DVR.

FPS caps at 60 while not full screen but it does while not fullscreen. I uninstalled Game bar and Xbox Game Bar, disabled Game DVR and Game Mode. The FPS drop does not happen while I record my game with game bar. It goes above 100 then.

This doesn't ever happen with Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, which is 10 times faster than the Java Edition.

The game doesn't ever drop my FPS in Windows 8/8.1.

Please fix this in Windows 10 2004! Also how can I solve this? I appreciate your help.

My problem is with Minecraft. In windowed mode, my FPS is crazy, above 200.

But while in fullscreen (Even windowed full screen), my FPS caps at 60, even with Optifine.

I had to ask here, because this is a problem with Windows 10. I'm running 10 Home 1909, the latest release. That doesn't happen with Minecraft Windows 10. Is Microsoft trying to find a way to pull users to Bedrock?

I'm confused by your post. You've said you're having issues with PC Minecraft, but you've posted a video of PC Battlefield 3.

As you can see by the below Image, my BF3 is running at 120 fps

Not sure where The Microsoft person got their information from.

This game sadly is 30 fps - there is no 60 fps mode. The One S and original Xbox One run at full 1080P, while the One X supports 4K, but like I said, only at 30 fps.

The PS4 and Pro are also 30 fps. Only the PC version supports 60 fps.

but the xbox one version is too bad,only 720p and 30 fps while my pc can run it at 60 fps

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

If that don't fix it, I can only recommend you wait for the update. It usually shows up after a few days.
