    Minecraft for Windows Not Updating


    Hello!

    My Minecraft (for Windows) is currently on 1.19.1, while I have friends that are on 1.19.2. My Minecraft just updated today, but I'm still on 1.19.1. I keep checking on how to update my Minecraft, but no luck. I can't update the Microsoft Store and have done the steps that Google tells me. How do I update it to 1.19.2?

    If it helps, my friends are on iPads/iPhones, while I'm playing on my computer. Just earlier today we were playing, and it was fine. I then left and when I came back my Minecraft wanted to update, so I did it. My friends updated too, but they are technically on a newer version than me. According to Google, 1.19.2 can work with 1.19.1, but I'm not able to join a friend's world (which I have been on before).

    If anyone could help, that would be great! Thanks

    Minecraft is allowed through the firewall. And this had been working just fine until the recent windows and minecraft updates.

    Minecraft for Windows should update to the latest version automatically. If not, open Microsoft Store, select the three dots in the top right corner and choose “Downloads and updates”. From here, select “Get updates” and all your installed applications should update (including Minecraft).

    Yes, I do mean 1.19.10. I figured that the zero technically didn't matter. My friends thought that they couldn't update anymore, but they actually did need to update. Thank you for that

    Once done, reset the Microsoft Store to clear the cache.

    For Windows 10:

    Open Settings by pressing Win + I

    Select Apps

    Select Apps & features

    Find Microsoft Store and select it

    Select Advanced options

    Scroll down and select Reset

    Confirm by selecting Reset again

    For Windows 11, you may go to Settings>System > System Components > Microsoft Store. Click on the 3 dots and click Advanced options then click on Reset.
