    I bought Minecraft for Windows 10 Starter Collection and I've subscribed for a server for two players, only to find that the game will not play.

    I kept getting a message to say the game was outdated and needed updating, which I tried to do, but that just led me to the store telling me to re-download it. When I tried to do that, it said it was already installed and then it was just circles of the same messages.

    After searching for nearly an hour on here, I've gone to my account where I can see the game and the subscription for the realms, but there is no way to re-download it. There are no codes, no nothing.

    So it appears Microsoft are just happily taking money and leaving customers out of pocket with no game, which I'm trying to load for an upset five year old.

    Not impressed!!

    Minecraft for Windows 10 vs Minecraft for Windows 10 starter collection

    The Starter collection includes the Minecraft base game and the Starter Pack compilation: Greek Mythology Mash-up, Plastic Texture Pack, Skin Pack 1, and Villains Skin Pack.

    Minecraft for Windows 10 only includes the base game.

    Hey there,

    Minecraft for windows now exists in the Minecraft Launcher. If you download and log into the Minecraft Launcher with the same Microsoft Account that owns Minecraft for Windows 10, you should still be able to play there. Your realms should also be within that version of Minecraft for Windows as well.
