minecraft for windows 10 not updating?

I recently purchased Minecraft for windows 10 beta through the Glorious Windows Store. After a week of messing about casually, I have not been able to make some things that I used to make on console version (PS3). I am playing on my pc with windows 10.
I looked around and noticed that most of the annoyances I am encountering were "fixed" in various updates. The problem is that while I can use redstone, I cannot make an enchanting table. Both were fixed in an update prior to me buying into the beta. Any
ideas on how I can get "updated" or is this a different problem?

Changing player tag in game Minecraft for Windows 10.

I changed player tag in application Xbox for windows 10 but player tag in game Minecraft for Windows 10 has not changed. How can I change player tag in game Minecraft for Windows 10?

Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

To check if there's an update in the Windows Store, open the Windows Store and click your profile icon next to the search bar and click Download and Updates. Hit Check for Updates and if there's one for Minecraft you can click the down arrow to download
it.

Hopefully this is the case, in which case it's easily resolved.

Please do note that the Minecraft Windows 10 edition beta and the PE editions are the exact same games. they are trying to make it where all the Minecraft games including the xbox one version will be full playing games with cross multiplayer. Now in version
15.0 they just came out with enchanting tables to be able placed in Minecraft. If Minecraft has not put the ability to create this in survival mode then you might have to wait for the next (or more) updates for this to be perfected.

if anything my "bro" (meh probably not but could be) is on the ball for this.

Hi, Servers for Minecraft are not available for the windows 10 edition beta or pocket editions. they might put them on in a later date, but realms are available
