Minecraft for Nintendo Switch: Can’t sign in, regardless of sign-in history

This topic is still relevant to other devices, not just to Nintendo Switch, noted by other players having this issue. I created a new account, and going into Minecraft, I discovered there’s no way to sign in when I press “Sign into Microsoft Account.” Instead the message prompt says, “Connecting…”, as if I already signed in before. This may be the Nintendo side of things, but I tried to reach out to support but nothing changed… Any tips?

Yes, I know the Clear Account Sign-In button exists, I’ve used it multiple times correctly to no avail. I’ve cleared my cache, most things I’ve done…

From your report, it appears to be a network error, specifically access restriction where the console is unable to connect properly.

But really, you need to contact Nintendo support, explain the situation and ask for the necessary network configuration that their servers use.
