  1. Minecraft Family Account Help

So I bought both java and Microsoft version of Minecraft a year or two ago. My daughter also plays Minecraft and plays it much more regularly than me. I've signed her in multiple times into the Microsoft account on her Switch through my desktop browser. I got a new computer recently and went to download Minecraft so I had it available when I was ready to play again. Suddenly it's just her account on the family account. Note she was a child under the family account and now is serving as like an adult... in the family account. And my attached account is just gone. I've tried logging in several times, scoured the profile. Tried searching my name up through her friends (not there). I have no idea what could have happened.

    :)

How do I change the birth-date I set if I accidentally set it under 13?

Hi, AussieAnimates! Thank you for reaching out.
I'm AJ, an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.
I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues playing Minecraft.

Unfortunately, changing your account's date of birth will not remove filters and restrictions that were put in place considering your account's original date of birth.

To allow access to Minecraft and multiplayer features, your child account needs to be added to a Family Group where the organizer/parent account can manage your account's security and privacy settings.

To do this on a browser:

    - An adult will need to sign in at https://account.microsoft.com
    - Scroll down and click on "Family"
    - Select "Add a family member"
    - Here your family organizer can change age filters and restrictions for your child account.
    - Online safety and privacy settings can be changed through the organizer's account at: https://account.xbox.com/settings

The following settings need to be enabled to allow access to multiplayer features on Minecraft:

    - You can join multiplayer games
    - You can join cross-network play
    - You can create or join clubs

    * This can also be done through the Xbox Family mobile app available for iOS and Android, or an Xbox console by going to Settings > Account > Family Settings > Manage Family members.

More information on family settings for Minecraft can be found at:

Please let me know if you have any further questions, I'd be happy to help.
    Best regards.

minecraft multiplayer is disabled, i searched for the solution online finding xbox family settings app but the app isnt avilable in my country

Hi, Loop! Thank you for reaching out.
I'm AJ, an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.
I'm sorry you are experiencing issues accessing multiplayer features on Minecraft.

If the Xbox Family Settings app is not available in your country, your parents/guardians can manage your account permissions via the Xbox website.

To do this on a browser:

    - An adult will need to sign in at https://account.microsoft.com
    - Scroll down and click on "Family"
    - Select "Add a family member"
    - Here your family organizer can change age filters and restrictions for your child account.
    - Online safety and privacy settings can be changed by the organizer's account at: https://account.xbox.com/settings

The following settings need to be enabled to allow access to multiplayer features on Minecraft:

    - You can join multiplayer games
    - You can join cross-network play
    - You can create or join clubs

This can also be done on an Xbox console by signing in to the family organizer's account and going to Settings > Account > Family Settings > Manage family members.

Previously purchased Minecraft not showing in Microsoft Store

Thank you. Just in case, did the other family accounts also purchase Minecraft or is your account in the family group the only one that has purchased it?
