Minecraft Email Address Problem

I created a Minecraft account in early 2000s using my parent’s work email. My parents are now retired and have moved from the work site that they were on. This is a problem as I have not changed the email address associated with my Minecraft account prior of their retirement. Minecraft mandatory migration cannot be completed because I or my parents do not have access to the email. Same problem arises with changing the email address on the Minecraft account. If there are some other ways to complete this please let me know. Please, I need help

Hi CHarris_201, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

As per Mojang's FAQ if you no longer have access to the email you will be needing to change it on your Minecraft settings and since it will not be possible you will be needing to reach out to them to check the options available.

Thank you very much for your reply! I have tried to follow the steps with the links you provided. My Minecraft account is a Legacy Minecraft Account. The one where I enter in my username and password. It still asked me to check my old email for some code that they sent. Is there another way that I can use to prove that my account is my own without having to enter in the old email?

you cannot change the email address you used to migrate your Mojang account.

If the Minecraft license is linked to that account, there is no problem by changing your alias/name address, because is already linked

Each Xbox Live Account will need it's own unique Email address.

When setting up a Family you are basically grouping different Xbox Live Accounts into a small group. For example when adding child accounts too, both parents can see and maintaing the child accounts.
