minecraft education edition "unable to connect to world"

So my teacher wanted me to figure out how to use minecraft education edition so my class could use it (were all in different places because of quarantine) because she isnt very "techy" and i found several solutions but since they were very hard to do for
someone like the rest of my class then they couldnt do it so i was searching for hours but no solutions that were half easy. so me and my other classmate tested it when i let it use public and private firewall and it still wouldnt work so now im struggling
to find a fix that people who dont know how to go into appdata or command prompt OR know what drivers are. So if anybody can help me find a fix so we can use minecraft education edition to code and other things the teachers have in mind that would be greatly
appreciated!

You need to make sure that all people have the same version on the game

well we did all download the game in the same 5 minute span so i don't think that is the solution but thanks anyway

Code connection is part of the Education Edition of minecraft. Which is available on pc only as far as i know.

My friend and i have had this ongoing problem where he is unable to connect to my worlds but i can connect to his (connecting to my worlds works just fine for others) and we have no idea why. and advise or support will be helpful. Thanks.
