Minecraft Dungeons PC - Controller will not work for "PLAYER 1"

Thanks in advance, if you can help in ANY way it would be GREATLY appreciated.

I've connected the XBOX ONE controller (Model 1708) to my PC via Bluetooth and Wired with the same results. It will recognize the controller and allow me to "Click in the Left Stick" to add a "PLAYER 2" to my game, and will then work completely fine, but WILL NOT EVER allow me to use the controller for "PLAYER 1". EVER. It is insanely frustrating and I cannot find anyone else experiencing the same issue. I've tried everything I can think of. It's recognized (all the buttons work when testing) and updated through the Xbox Accessories app.

Also, I've noticed that I can navigate the menus in the Xbox Game Pass app with the D-pad and Left Stick but cannot "click" to play a game with the "A Button". I have to start the game with the mouse.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been dealing with this issue forever and finally said screw it, I'll just use the mouse and keyboard. I'd very much like to use the controller to play.

After the powershell procedure, you will restart the PC and open the xbox app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, If that doesn't work, then you jump to the next procedure.

Sorry if that was unclear, what I meant was none of the steps up to Powershell worked. Everything is up to date (Windows, Xbox App, Games, Controller, Etc.) Did the Repair and Reset of Gaming Services App, still nothing. Then I press the Windows key, type Powershell, Run as Administrator, type "get-appxpackage" and a whole list of things pops up. Not sure what to do after that step or if I did it correctly or not?

Ok so I literally type

get-appxpackage"spacebar"Microsoft.GamingServices"spacebar"|"spacebar"remove-appxpackage"spacebar"-allusers

It didn't work for me last night but I think I got some of the spaces wrong or something. It has to be exact to get the right cmd so I literally type exactly that?

Yes, or you could copy and paste.

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers

Right, got that part. Where I'm lost is the powershell procedure itself. I run it as administrator, then....

1. Type "get-appxpackage"

2. Hit "enter"

Correct?

Huge list of stuff comes up.

This is where I got confused, I tried typing in a bunch of variations of what I thought you were telling me to type but nothing was a legitimate cmd. So I'm mixed up somewhere after that list comes up. Could you please "step by step" that process for me?
