Minecraft dungeons multiplayer is not working for cross platform (Sony & Xbox)

Can’t connect my friend to Minecraft dungeons multiplayer. He is listed as offline but he is in game. I don’t see his games in sessions and he can’t see my. When he plays another game I can see him. This only does not work for Minecraft dungeons.

What we have:

- enabled cross platform on Sony PlayStation 4

- found his tag through Xbox and added to friends

- bought gold for Xbox and Sony so there will be online multiplayer

- he created games, I don’t see them in sessions. I create, the same

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue, are you playing on the PlayStation or the Xbox?

Double-check the Xbox account linked to the PlayStation Network account, and make sure you have added the correct account as a friend.

I am on Xbox. My friend is on PlayStation. I know he linked his account successfully because after he did it I could find his tag on Xbox.

I added him to friends but he is listed as offline and when he or me creates an online game session we don’t see each other games in the session list

Please help.

and Xbox hardware. More than just proving to Sony that cross-platform multiplayer is safe and that it

Currently Minecraft dungeon does not support cross platform multiplayer, meaning you can only play together with people using the same device (PC with PC, Xbox with Xbox). However, cross platform has been announced for future updates.

He is correct about unlocking multiplayer but dq builders 2 is NOT CROSS PLAY compatible

You can however share pictures cross platform that's it

Crossway is upto the developer not ms or sony thought sony blocked cross play till they were forced
