Minecraft Dungeons: installed on wrong local account

how can i make the change? Im not the one playing it

Once you log in on an account, it is tied to that account. This is an anti-piracy measure to prevent anyone without the ID of your account added to the files from playing with a distributed copy of the game.

if you bought it under the windows store, then log out and log in to your sons account (make sure your sons account is listed under your family account) and open windows store, log out of the store and log in with your name, download minecraft, then log
out of store and log back in with your sons account.

In her excitement my daughter installed Minecraft Dungeons on my WORK PC. she's had a whole heap of fun playing it, but it is now time to MOVE the game to her PC and let me get on with work.

TWO Parts;

- when I install Minecraft Dungeons on the New PC (via the windows store) it downloads and installs fine. HOWEVER as soon as she logs into her Microsoft/Xbox account we get the error "Unable to verify account ownership". at which point the only option
is to close the game.

- ASSUMING I can install the game on the NEW PC, I assume I can copy the Dungeons save directory from C:\Users\*Your User Name*\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Lovika_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Local\Dungeons\ and all will be good... Of course step
1 is pretty critical.

I have tried reinstalling the game (on the new PC) no luck. I have tried (yet) another PC, no luck.

Any ideas?

Double check the account that was used when you first installed it onto your work pc, if its different to her account then it will have to be purchased again on her account to get it to work.

Its definitely the right account - I got caught out with the wrong account a week ago.
