Minecraft Dungeons Broken After Merging With Microsoft Account

I had purchased Minecraft Dungeons on PC close to launch and opted for the "Launcher" edition instead of Windows Edition. Game worked great until recently when I was required to merge the account with my Microsoft account. Now the game launches with accessibility mode on and has annoying narration with every move I make.

Problem is, I cannot turn off the narration. While the game is open, I can only access the top half of the settings. I can't get into the settings menu where the narration is. I have tried both with and without a controller but it's like the bottom few options on the settings page just don't work. It's as if they cannot be clicked.

Super frustrating to have this game I paid for become broken after doing the annoying steps required to merge the account (which was forced).

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling both the game and the launcher to no avail.

Any ideas?

Windows key + i and go to apps, find Minecraft Dungeons, and uninstall.

Then open the Microsoft Store, search for Minecraft Launcher, install, log in with your Microsoft account, install Minecraft Dungeons. After that, you can play.

Did you try the Merge feature on MineCraft?

You won't need it anymore! After migrating you'll use your Microsoft account to log in to the Minecraft Launcher to play the game and log in to minecraft.net to manage your settings.

So perhaps try the Microsoft account.
