Minecraft dungeon crossplay between PC versions

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about being able to play multiplayer in this game across different versions of the game.

As per the
Minecraft Dungeons FAQ, since both version require you to use a Microsoft account, you should still be able to connect to your buddies if you are using the same platform. As long as you know your friends Gamertag, and you've added them to your friends list,
you should be able to play with them.

"Gameplay is not different between the two versions, only the method of accessing, downloading, and updating the game."

I hope this is able to clarify further on this matter.

The unfortunate part about playing Minecraft Dungeons on PC is that there are no cross-save, crossplay, or cloud saving. So if you play on PC 1, you'll have to make another character on PC 2. You cannot transfer your saves between platforms as well - such
as the Switch, Xbox, PS4, or PC.

If I get you right, you are asking if you can crossplay between Minecraft Pocket Edition and Minecraft PC Edition.

Minecraft Pocket Edition is assentially a striped down version of the original game in order to fit the requirements for mobile devices.

Minecraft PC Edition has more content, the worlds are bigger, and the overall size is much bigger than the Pocket one.

In short terms, there is no way to crossplay between mobile and PC, due to the size of the game and different server allocations that the two versions have.

Games that will be released on all platforms will hopefully all have crossplay in the future.

The new Call of Duty to be released is the 1st of many i hope to be crossplay between console platforms.

There is currently a few games that is crossplay enabled between pc and Xbox.

Minecraft has more platforms available for crossplay.

The new version of minecraft, its the one that have crossplay with pc, mobile and switch.
