Minecraft doesn't seem to warn to update, and is indefinitely stuck on 0%

When I attempt to update Minecraft, the game says it has an update of around 0 KB, and upon presiding update, it will indefinitely remain on 4.00 KB of 1.70 GB, and stay at 0% and installing. I've waited hours, restarted the console multiple ways, and nothing has seemed to work.

Completely remove it except for cloud save data, reset, then check for updates with the Microsoft store, then reinstall.

It took me about three attempts of this to fix it.

Please try this:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

If that doesn't work and if you maybe have more than 90% of the internal storage used in your console please delete unused games or apps temporarily and try doing the update again

I presume you mean completely uninstall the game. If heat you said is correct, this won't remove or delete any worlds on the Xbox at the moment, or skins etc

Installation problems. I got prompted to install update. I accepted. It was stuck at 99% for a really long time. I paused the install and then canceled the install. I turned off the XBOX and retried the install. This time I got a warning that the install
was 6gb. I accepted. It has be STUCK at "0% Install" for over an hour. Not sure what to do at this point.
