    Minecraft disabled multiplayer and says to enable it I have to change it in my Microsoft...


    I've tried to search for a solution but all I found was either my Xbox account settings, Microsoft Family Safety settings or Xbox Family settings. My Xbox account settings have everything on enabled, multiplayer and all, so that can't be it. Both for Microsoft Family Safety and Xbox Family I am the only member, so I can't change any settings for myself. What do I do? What settings do I need to change?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    You can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone”:

    * You can join cross-network play

    * You can see and upload community creations

    * You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

    * Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

    * You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

    * You can create and join clubs

    * You can join multiplayer games

    Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

    Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it is a process and takes a while for it to update. It ended up working for me as well.

    I reset the setting in the Xbox family app along with re opening Minecraft but it’s still not allowing multiplayer. Will it take more time to refresh to have the system reflect the setting changes made?

    "In the Xbox Family Settings app, go to Settings, and then under Enable Minecraft select Allow this game. Turn on Multiplayer to let a member play online with others, even if their account settings block them from multiplayer features. Enable Clubs so that a member can create and join Minecraft Realms servers."

    This ended up working, but for some reason it took 24 hours to take effect. Tried it with my daughter, same thing.

    It was a proccess.... and I don't think it is a definite answer.
