Thanks for the reply. I actually gave up trying to make this work, before your reply, and ended up creating a gamertag for my son and playing on separate accounts.

For anyone else that comes across this, I don't see a "Profile" tab in the settings.

Oh, I see. The crossplay will only work on Internet connection. You'll be needing to play on both PC if you want to connect through LAN.
