Minecraft creeper cape isn't accessible neither on website nor in launcher

I claimed the creeper cape during an anniversary event, but for some reason I can't access it neither on website skin menu (there is no cape menu, I can't even see whether I have any capes or not), nor in launcher (java edition to be precise).

    :)

My Minecraft cape is gone after changing pc.

Hello Gabaaa, my name is Vanessa, and I would be happy to help.

If your Minecraft cape disappeared after changing PCs, it's possible that the cape was accidentally uninstalled from the launcher. To recover the cape, you can try the following:

Verify that the cape is uninstalled from the launcher. To do this, open the Minecraft launcher and go to the "Appearance" tab. If the cape is not in the list, it means it is uninstalled.
Reinstall the cape. To do this, go to the Minecraft website and search for the cape you want to install. Once you have found the cape, click the "Download" button.
Once the cape has been downloaded, open the Minecraft launcher and go to the "Appearance" tab. The cape should now be in the list.
As for the question of how to recover the skins you had on the previous PC, there is no direct way to do this through the launcher. However, if you saved the skins on your previous PC, you can try importing them to the new PC. To do this, follow these steps:

Find the skins you saved on the previous PC. Skins are usually stored in the "AppData" folder on your PC.
Copy the skins to the "AppData" folder on the new PC.
Open the Minecraft launcher and go to the "Appearance" tab.
    Click the "Import" button.
Select the skins you want to import and click "Open."
Once you have imported the skins, they should appear in the list of available skins.
    I hope this helps!

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help.

    Best regards,
    Vanessa.

Cherry Blossom cape java edition problem

    Hi there!

I just had the exact same problem. The Minecraft Launcher was saying that I didn't have any capes despite the fact that I very much had a cape. The way to fix this (at least on the Legacy Minecraft Launcher, meaning no support for Bedrock Edition or Legends) is to relaunch the Launcher (close it and then open it). Thanks!

EDIT: I had a similar problem: I couldn't access the cape. If this problem happens to you too, follow the instructions above and maybe you should create a bug report for it here.

My Minecraft Java Home and Menace capes are STILL not in my account.

    Hi Attackeh,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you redeemed a Minecraft cape and it's not yet showing in your inventory.

Minecraft events and promotions often award capes that you can equip on your character to show your participation. After a cape is granted or you redeem a code, it appears in the dressing room of your Minecraft: Bedrock Edition profile. Capes are often granted to Minecraft: Java Edition profiles at a later date only after participation ends.

If you want to receive your cape on your Minecraft: Java Edition profile sooner, you can try to activate it by signing into Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Here’s how:

Wait for notification that your cape was granted or redeem your code.

    Start the Minecraft Launcher.

Sign into the Launcher using the Microsoft account you use to play Minecraft.

Start the latest release of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Select Dressing Room and locate your item in the appropriate section.

Exit Minecraft: Bedrock Edition after you verified that your item is available in the Dressing Room.

Sign out of the Minecraft Launcher and close the application.

Restart the Minecraft Launcher and sign in again with the same Microsoft account.

Select Minecraft: Java Edition in the Launcher.

    Select Skins.

Highlight the skin you are currently using.

    Click … and select Edit.

Click your cape and select Save & Use.

It is important that you sign out and restart to make sure Minecraft: Java edition reconnects and finds your cape. If the process above doesn't work, you may need to wait until the official Minecraft: Java Edition cape grant after the event or promotion end date.

    Regards,

    Alvaro
