    So I have been having this problem for multiple months. My minecraft crashes with the exit code of -1073740791. Usually, the monitor goes black or it just freezes at the frame where the game started to crash. Sometimes it takes around 10 seconds to reload and show me the crash code of -1073740791. Sometimes it just freeze there without any sign of reacting, I am forced to just turn off the computer at this point. I've searched for solution, but this problem mostly occured in 2017, when a specific verison of GeForce Experience causes the game to crash. The solution provided was to download the latest verison. However, I already have the latest verison 516.59, in 17/7/2022. I tried unintsalling and reinstalling with no success. I also tried multiple ways such as reinstalling minecraft, made multiple adjustments to my display card settings(I dont really know what they are, I just follow steps I found online), though none of these seem to work for me. Can someone please provide help? Sorry I dont know how about computers so please tell me if you need anymore additional information to solve this problem. All I could think of are the followings:

    Minecraft Java Edition1.8.9(Not sure if it only happens in this verison)

    GeForce Experience 516.59 cant scan minecraft(and some other games too, with the correct file selected)

    Windows 10 64-bit

    GeForce GTX 750 Ti

    If you are, please confirm if you have attempted the troubleshooting fixes posted by Lucas and from the official Mojang Bugs page: [MC-112780] [Fixed driver available] Game ended with bad state (exit code -1073740791) - Faulty nVidia driver 378.49 - Jira (mojang.com)

    • Download the latest driver version 378.66 (or later) from http://www.geforce.com/drivers
    • From the driver's changelog:

      [Minecraft]: Java SE Binary crashes pointing to nvinitx.dll. [200274582]
    • If you do not have an Nvidia card: This issue can also be caused by Razer Synapse.

    This error code is usually caused by outdated drivers (specially graphic card driver) or by the D3DGear. If you have D3DGear installed on your system, please uninstall it. Else, please update Windows and all your drivers and see if the issue persists.
