Minecraft concerns

OakleyCitra · Oct 8, 2022

I have a Xbox one that’s is 5-6 years old. My Minecraft took 10 minutes to actually download, this was last night.

In total it took like 35 minutes to fully work after it crashed my Spotify and Xbox for 10 minutes. And Minecraft has been very glitchy lately

Hi OakleyCitra, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Minecraft for Xbox 360 and Minecraft for Xbox One are two different games. The content purchases are considered to be on the 360 so it's for a different game as far as the Xbox One is concerned.

I'd recommend checking your account and make sure that you are having an active subscription using the link below. Another thing you need to check is your order history. Since you already renewed your subscription recently, you have to be able to locate the purchase on your account. If not, in that case you might have purchased it on another account.

View and manage your subscriptions on Xbox One | Xbox Support.

However, if there's no issue with your subscription, I'd advise you to contact our live support agents for further assistance.
