Minecraft cloud sync from One S to Series X

Hello. I hope someone can help me with this. I just got a series x and I am trying to play minecraft. It says when I try to start minecraft it gives me the "your other xbox console is taking a long time to sync to the cloud." If I press "sync last saved data" then it just gives me my worlds but a lot are gone and the ones that are there are around two years outdated. Also my skins are gone as well. So I've had minecraft on the other console running for an hour now to see if that would fix it but it has not. Other games like doom 64 and halo infinite have synced but not minecraft.

    :)

    Cloud Sync Not Working

This moderator is clearly copying and pasting old data from the Xbox One days. This troubleshoot doesn’t work on Xbox Series X or S consoles.

“Cloud saved games” isn’t an option anymore.

I can’t find how to force a cloud sync. I can’t play Starfield on my other console in another room because the data won’t sync.

What’s the point of cloud saving if it doesn’t actually save???

It still gives me the sync message. I just power cycled the series x and it didn, didn't, work. So I then after the power cycle I reinstall the game again. I still haven't cleared local saves because I can't find it after going to manage game and addons.

On the new console. Oh I just saw that you did the power cycle on the old console, it was for the new console

On the series x or one? On both I can get to manage games and add-ons but can't find where to delete local saves.

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

    - Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    - Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

    - Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, reinstall the game on your Series X.
