Minecraft capes not showing up

I'm sorry to hear you're having issue with your cape. Can you please try to check if your cape is listed in your order history? https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

If the cape is listed, please open Minecraft Bedrock and try to sign out your Microsoft account then sign back in. Go to Dressing Room > Capes. After activating the capes in Bedrock, please try to restart your Minecraft Launcher and see if they will now show in your Java capes.

If the cape will still not show up in both Bedrock and Java after a while, please try to reach out to Minecraft support so they can investigate why the cape is not showing up on your account yet and help. https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/request/new...

I'm sorry to hear you're having issue with your capes. Can you confirm on what device do you play Minecraft? If you play Java Edition, please note that you will have to activate the capes in Bedrock first.

Please open Minecraft Bedrock then go to Dressing Room > Capes. After activating the capes in Bedrock, please try to restart your Minecraft Launcher and see if they will now show in your Java capes.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you redeemed a Minecraft cape and it's not yet showing in your inventory.

Minecraft events and promotions often award capes that you can equip on your character to show your participation. After a cape is granted or you redeem a code, it appears in the dressing room of your Minecraft: Bedrock Edition profile. Capes are often granted to Minecraft: Java Edition profiles at a later date only after participation ends.

If you want to receive your cape on your Minecraft: Java Edition profile sooner, you can try to activate it by signing into Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Here’s how:

Wait for notification that your cape was granted or redeem your code.

Start the Minecraft Launcher.

Sign into the Launcher using the Microsoft account you use to play Minecraft.

Start the latest release of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Select Dressing Room and locate your item in the appropriate section.

Exit Minecraft: Bedrock Edition after you verified that your item is available in the Dressing Room.

Sign out of the Minecraft Launcher and close the application.

Restart the Minecraft Launcher and sign in again with the same Microsoft account.

Select Minecraft: Java Edition in the Launcher.

Select Skins.

Highlight the skin you are currently using.

Click … and select Edit.

Click your cape and select Save & Use.

It is important that you sign out and restart to make sure Minecraft: Java edition reconnects and finds your cape. If the process above doesn't work, you may need to wait until the official Minecraft: Java Edition cape grant after the event or promotion end date.
