Minecraft - cant connect to multiplayer games

Honestly haven't played Minecraft in months, now I try to joining my sister and it tells me -

"This Microsoft account does not have permission to join multiplayer games."

I have followed online help tutorials. All my setting are at allow on the Xbox website. On the system they are set to adult permissions. And I checked and removed myself rom the Microsoft family feature. Am I missing something?

Reinstalled it and it's still not working.

As I said in my post, I have already done that. Everything was already set to allow.

Sign in with your account at Xbox.com, then click your profile icon in the top right of the page.

- From the dropdown click the three dots and then Xbox Settings.

-That will take you to a page that has your Privacy & Online Safety Settings, from there you can toggle everything to 'Allow'.
