Minecraft bought under wrong Microsoft Account

I bought Minecraft in January, but at the time of purchase I typed in the wrong email address for the Microsoft account. I immediately realized, and starting the next day I started trying to fix it. I've called, done online chats, and emailed so many times trying to change the email address. No one knows how to fix it, and it's too late to get a refund. Is there any way to get this fixed? It has been very difficult to communicate with Xbox about the problem- none of their customer service agents have been able to help, and they point me to getting a refund. The refund request doesn't allow enough characters to explain the situation, though. When I submitted my request it was denied due to time, I've replied multiple times with more information but they have never responded. What do I do? I spent money on a game *in January* that we can't use, and I've wasted hours at this point trying to fix it. I never thought it would be this hard for a tech company to change an email address.

Honestly, support gives incorrect information all the time. It's unfortunate.

If Xbox technical support isn't trained to know this information, how can customers be expected to know? Should customers just not trust customer support when they say they can help?

If this were the case, I wish it had been shared with me the first few times I communicated with your tech support asking for help (within the 30 day window). It almost seems they were dragging me along making me think it could be fixed until I was out of that refund window. Everyone I called and chatted with assured me that they could fix it. I'm extremely unhappy with the level of customer support.

Refunding it and purchasing it on the correct account would have been the only way to fix it. There's no way to transfer anything between accounts otherwise. Since the refund period is over, there is nothing else that can be done.

What do I do if my replies are ignored? I've replied twice- with more than 72 hours between the two emails, and since the last email. It seems to be very difficult to email XBox, and every time I chat with them, they ask me to try the same steps that don't work. I would really like to use the game I've paid for but can't download.
