Minecraft Beta issue AGAIN!

I signed up for the Minecraft RTX Beta back when it was released in 2020 and quickly realised my PC wasn't capable of running RTX due to the graphics card so opted out of the beta pretty much immediately.

Ever since then I have had issues with Minecraft reverting back from the vanilla version to the current BETA release, I've followed the advice given by Mojang and Microsoft, tried signing up to the Beta again and opting out several times (I'm 100% sure I'm not signed up for the Beta now!), clearing the App store cache, deleting the Minecraft update file etc etc, all of these options have never worked. The ONLY way I have managed to get the game to revert back to the Vanilla version is to completely re-install Windows on my PC, this has worked every time.... up until today!

I logged in to Minecraft tonight to find it has thrown me back into the latest Beta version 1.18.0.20! It had been working fine for the last 5-6 months and had no issues. I've just spent the last 3 hours going through all the options to try and get the Vanilla version back, none of which have worked as usual and have just completed a full re-install of windows. Installed Minecraft again and it's still loading up the Beta! It's beyond a joke now, this is probably the 3rd or 4th time this has happened this year, each time I have to back up all my files, re-install all the apps and software I had and update everything. I've lost so many of my Minecraft worlds having to do this (yes, my fault for not backing them up I guess!). I also can't access Realms while it's in the Beta.

I can see from previous posts that I'm not the only person who has had issues with this and that neither Mojang or Microsoft seem to want to take any responsibility to find a solution.

I'm open to advice but I'm at the point where I'm not really willing to keep messing around and having to loose stuff on my PC through re-installing Windows again, it's just not worth it and I shouldn't have to do it!

Do you think there would be any chance that Microsoft would be willing to transfer the game ownership to my other (newer) Microsoft account? It's never been signed up to the Beta so I'm guessing it should be fine? This is the only realistic solution I can think of that will allow me to continue playing the game and I refuse to buy another copy!

First, welcome to the Xbox community, and we're sorry you're having this issue. Since you've already contacted the game developer for Mojang, and they couldn't do anything, I don't think you can fix this since the game developer didn't do anything to help with the case. As for your question, unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer licenses between accounts, what you could do is try to ask for a refund for the game, and if not approved try to appeal explaining the whole situation. To request a refund you would need to comply with Microsoft requirements, you can check these instructions at the link below.

Will this issue be totally cleared with the release of 1.11 or will we still be listed as beta users after. Meaning will we all have to uninstall then reinstall minecraft to not be beta players? My internet charges data usage and this will be a big expense
for me to do that. It would be the equivalent of buying minecraft all over again.

Yes this is from the beta trying to integrate with the normal minecraft. Once you opt out of beta, you have to uninstall beta version and install the normal version again.

I also have both versions of Minecraft and got the newest version for free due to having the Minecraft Xbox One Edition.

If you un-enrol from the beta version you will have to reinstall Minecraft to get the version that isn't part of the beta programme. You won't be charged for the game, the only change will be that you won't be able to go on the worlds that you previously
created or saved on the beta version since it will have the beta features.

If you ever decide that you would like to play the beta version again, you can join the beta programme on the Xbox Insiders Hub then reinstall the game again to have the beta version.

Im on pc and i enrolled in the minecraft beta with ray tracing and tried it out but wanted to go back to vanilla to play with friends and it wont let me unenroll. Ill click it and click on done but itll never go through. Ive even uninstalled minecraft
and ive also left the insider program and uninstalled minecraft and installed it again to still be in the beta and i just wanna be playing with friends again
