    Minecraft beta automatically installed itself and I can’t get it to go away


    Hi, my son is having a problem with Xbox insider and Minecraft Beta. He was enrolled to get the MC beta several months ago. He uninstalled the beta to go back to regular MC and has tried multiple times to unenroll and we thought the problem was fixed. Today he went to play MC Bedrock and the beta was installed again. When he tries to log into Xbox insider hub to uninstall it he gets the message that he’s under 18 and cannot log in, even though he has in the past. I’ve changed his account settings but it won’t let him in. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I just want the beta gone so he can go back to playing regular MC. Thank you.

    Before I do that, I was wondering if it has anything to do with the account. I’ve heard people say this happened because of Minecraft beta. I’ve already unlisted from beta but I can’t check anymore since the insider hub app won’t install like Minecraft.

    I recently joined the Beta version of Minecraft on my Xbox one. when I left the preview, I reinstalled Minecraft. But when I launch Minecraft, It automatically installs the beta. Even when I cancelled the update, when I launch the game, It updates. I even tried closing my Insider hub account for this to stop but it didn't. Any help please?
    You must leave the beta club thing, and re-install Minecraft. I hope i helped

    Xbox insider hub is not unenrolling me from the minecraft beta

    when i go to unenroll from the minecraft beta, it doesn't do anything. I click manage, then I go to Unenroll and select it, then I click done but the box just goes away.
    i think you have to delete the game then install it then it should fix it.

    Javier,

    I have the exact same issue where I was prompted to update and when I loaded the game was in Beta mode. I've never used Insider Hub.

    I've installed Insider - Joined the Beta, then Left it. Uninstalled, Power Cycled, and re-installed. Still locked in Beta.

    I then went into Hub - verified I am not signed up for Beta - Removed my Insider account and done a full factory reset on the xbox.

    Once complete only installed Minecraft and again... Still Beta.

    How do I get away from this Beta....

    how do you download from a disc on Xbox one

    When you insert a disc and start to play it, it will automatically install.

    In order to be eligible for the Minecraft beta, you have to own the digital version. The disc version is not eligible.
