Problem 1: Windows Update does not show updates

To answer your question, we might need to check what have caused the issue of black screen first. We understand that you are trying to launch Minecraft Bedrock in PC and is unable to because it displays black screen. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

2. Would you mind posting a screenshot of the issue? Please conceal any personal information.
   
3. When did this issue happen? Was this working before?
   
4. Was there a recent Windows update or new application installed on your device?

We have suggested troubleshooting below. It will be your predicament to perform these troubleshooting and skip the steps you have done already.

2. Please do the update of drivers, guide - update drivers in Windows.
   
   • NVIDIA
     
   • AMD
     
3. Note: Please make sure you know your credentials before proceeding to the next steps. If in doubt, try to manually sign in here: Microsoft Account | Home.
   
   • Log out from Xbox app and Microsoft Store. Make sure there is no account remain logged into those apps.
     
   • Reset/Repair Microsoft Store and Xbox app (if using). Guide - Repair apps and programs in Windows.
     
   • Clear the store cache by typing “wsreset” in the Windows search bar. Run this as admin and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
     
4. Restart and disable all antivirus, antimalware, VPN, proxy, firewall and PC Optimizer.
   
5. Relaunch Minecraft Launcher and sign in to your account. Try to check Minecraft Bedrock version and update us in here.

No, for some reason Minecraft.net does not show the purchased Minecraft Bedrock Windows 10 Edition. I did not run minecraft through the launcher, I downloaded it from the Microsoft store and just opened it without using the launcher.
